September has been and still is a busy month for me. Please forgive the late replies and comments and the fact that I have not made any new fractals but just uploaded some that have been laying in my files.

My dA time has been and still is rather restricted. Apart from working more hours out of the house at the Kindergarden and arranging the reconstruction of our downstairs toilet I have been tempted by the nice weather to make excursions to get to know my new camera. One excursion was by train to Rheinfelden and from there by boat on the Rhine river to Basel, an other one to Geneva. I hadn't been to Geneva for 40 years and was curious to see whether it had changed much or if we would still find some of the old places, especially the bar where my husband and I first met. The bar is still there and nothing in it has changed except the cost of the drinks Geneva is an international city with people from all over the world and great fun to visit.

Of course I also visit my daughter and my granddaughter often. She grows so fast and I want to see her at least once a week in order to keep up with every new accomplishment. I would never have guessed how much I would get to love my little Laila. Now she already displays unmistakably joy when she sees me

This months I also got the chance to visit the Google Zurich Offices [link] with a group of photographers and meet some people of the Panoramio team. They were ever so nice and showed us around the building and gave us the opportunity to make a wish list regarding Panoramio. Mr.Joaquín Cuenca himself came to discuss the list with us. He and Eduardo Manchón are the founders of Panoramio which was acquired by Google in 2007 [link] The working environment at Google Zurich is fantastic. The ambient is ever so inspiring. It is layed out to make the employees feel comfortable and motivated like I have never seen anywhere before. It leaves nothing to be desired imho.

Usually I don't write so much but I figured you deserve to know why my replies and comments often took so long. I don't mean to be rude and I love you all but my live is just split in too many obligations and love affairs
