Sophie prompted me to think about my country. There is much more to say about Switzerland than the tipical keywords:

To me Switzerland means home, securiy, comfort, reliability and diversity.

Our flags colors are red and white. A white cross on red ground. For this contest I put a flower in place of the cross to symbolize the gift I make when ever I want to show love and gratitude.

Hi Baba
let's see if I'm up to doing comments on this spectacular piece - superb use of space - nice contrast between the red & white - great color saturation on the red - it is like a mandala in a way - the red band flow feery well to the edges of the piece - the white line circular center area is a great touch - superb use of line in it - it holds a viewer's attention but they are4 being forced to look at the red bands over & over again - why - when you use a diagonal line or form in a piece you create 2D tension on a the picture plane - this will grab a viewer every time you use diagaonals of any kind in your pieces - I use it as much as I can - they look at the edsges of the piece & then must return to look at the beustiful line work in the center of this spectacular piece - the way fractals are made the layering of of one flower sape on top of one another is superb - the best part is they grow smaller as the get closer to the very central one - please forgive me for this details critique - I told you I had to wait before I could make comments in order to this piece justice - I hope I have done so - brilliant work on this true winner - Nan
