I sure didn't start with the tuts. Hate 'em. Took me years to start with that. Initially I just went with the UF premise that if you take any parameter and change it enough so that it's unrecognizable, it's yours. That's how I learned to use the basic controls and components. There's a lot to the program but once you get going, it's so much easier and less limiting than Apo. I think .
That's what I did too years ago. I still have some trial and err UF results in a folder but if I do get back to it I want to learn complex images with different textures and layers etc. and to get there in reasonable time I should read the books
