Lovely image Baba and also very seasonal. I can imagine you sitting there with your eternal flame, some butter, a selection of delectable cheeses and crackeres. What a lovely evening you would have!! good luck
You would love to have been shopping with me this evening. I seemed to time it just right for all the supermarket reductions and got a large slab of Wensleydale for 32p and two large slices of a parmesan type cheese for 75p each. I've recently become extremely fond of salad leaves, with a little seafood sause and some grated parmesan, mmmmmm, parmesan.
Will you please stop torturing me ! I have to walk down two stairs to get to my fridge and it's nearly empty because I didn't feel like going out today Now I am sitting here with my mouth watering and my stomach starts grumbling Yes I think I have to make a trip downstairs and get that piece of goat cheese and I might as well open a bottle of wine and call it a meal
Olives, especially the black ones are a favourite food. I like to buy them from the deli and just eat them straight out of the container. There are never any left by the time I get home Dried tomatoes are yummy but I love those cherry tomatoes, the tiny ones that burst with a flavour explosion when you bite them. I can only eat pistachio nuts without getting sick but I avoid them as once I start eating them I can't stop!! This is all stuff on my "last minute" list because if I buy them now there will be none left for Christmas, ho, ho ,ho!!
You mean little thing you! I am not very mad at you because I am still stuffed with Fleischkäse which I had for dinner the first time in years. It was rather good and tomorrow I have visitors (sucks) and I'll make cheese fondue and for starters I give dried meat, green greek olives and chips and those who want can have bread but since there is bread to dip into the fondue I don't think anyone wants bread with the meat. For desert I make an orange tiramisu with tangerine pieces on top
